Changing Layout from TAB view to TRAY view

Hi Guys,

I have a requirement to change Engineering record UI from TABS to TRAYS. As shown in below screen shot we have different tabs like Items, Process Route, Notes etc and we need to change this view to TRAY with expand collapse options.

As per my initial analysis, the UI is created based on Web Dynpro ABAP application using Object Instance Floorplan (OIF) and this component doesn't support TRAY option.

Has any one worked on this type of requirement Or is this scenario possible or do we have any alternative way to achieve this?
