We are implementing SAP PLM for a high-tech company which designs and manufactures mobile phones (ODM). Since we are new in PLM consulting and we are facing with some implementation difficulties, we are looking for some solutions here.
Question 2: Limited length of material description in standard SAP system.
Currently，on customer's system, material description gives an overview of all important information( material attributes) of an certain material, and the length of the description is far more than 40 characters which SAP can offer. It is strongly required by customer not to change the material description, they really want the material attributes to be displayed at every screen( such as material view, BOM view , project view and other object linked views ). Is there any solutions we can provide for the customer.
