We are implementing SAP PLM for a high-tech company which designs and manufactures mobile phones (ODM). Since we are new in PLM consulting and we are facing with some implementation difficulties, we are looking for some solutions here.
Question 6: Document authorization.
Customer Requirements：
Customer wants to manage documents within projects, to check and release the document in a project structure. At the back-end of document system, they also want to control the access of the document. For example, an engineer in a certain project can not view documents under another project, at the same time he or she don't have the authorization to display documents belongs to another department.
We found out that PFCG role can't achieve the requirements above. Can ACL meet with our requirements? Is there any way to cover this? A great thanks!
